New Sudbury Soccer League (SSL) Takes Off
U9 & U10 Players to Compete in Sudbury’s First SSL Tournament on Nov. 9th
Player development, Revolution-led training sessions, and a year-end Sudbury tournament are all features of SYSA’s new Sudbury Soccer League (SSL).
In its first season, the SSL experienced rapid growth as more than 80 players joined the league. These players will compete in the first-ever SSL tournament at the end of the fall season.
Ross Duncan from the New England Revolution and Sudbury Soccer’s Technical Director said, “The new Sudbury League finally gives parents and players the high level of training and development they want but, without the weekend travel associated with the BAYS league. Third and fourth grade girls and boys of all skill levels can now train twice a week and play in Sudbury on weekends, all with the exact same training and coaching we provide our BAYS players.”
Registration for the Spring SSL will begin on November 18th. For additional information about the Sudbury Soccer League, please visit the SYSA website or contact Ross Duncan or any member of the SYSA Board.
